I was blown away when I saw Ruth Bader Ginsburg working out in the documentary RBG. A woman (in her 80s) WORKING OUT! I still get chills whenever I watch this clip.

She continued to show up for herself and thrive after every setback. She survived colon, pancreatic, and lung cancer before passing away from metastatic pancreatic cancer in 2020. She's a true inspiration to me. When I feel defeated or life is too hard, I think of her and this clip. She deserves the title The Notorious RBG!

Instead of writing a super long post, I’ve decided to post this video about what God shared with me on our morning walk today.

GOD is EVERYTHING!!! I’m soooooo GRATEFUL!!!

No matter what your life is looking like or how crazy people think you are, always do whatever GOD is telling YOU to do. Biggest lesson I’ve learned in life.

Being diagnosed with a chronic illness and being a young wife + mother is not easy.

In this video, I share what I really go through emotionally as someone who was diagnosed with Stage IV Inflammatory Breast Cancer at 34.

This Sunday will be the 5 year anniversary since my diagnosis. Healing from this traumatic experience is something I work on every day.

I remember when I was having a hard time living, let alone thriving after my cancer diagnosis. Then it hit me; this isn’t how I want to live my life. It was at that moment; I chose to live and listen to what God was telling me, despite my circumstances. I’m so happy I did! God showed me how to THRIVE!!!

I’ve been thinking a lot about character. My character. What am I sowing this season and what am I reaping from a previous season?

Nature is one of our best teachers. We’ve been blessed with the gift of planting seeds and watching them grow. It’s a reminder of our growth. Each season is purposeful and each season requires patience and work.
